OUTING - Macro/Close-Up Photography at
Kerry Wood Nature Centre
June 20, 2015

Our second outing took us to Kerry Wood Nature Centre with 24 members in attendance. Jim McKinley and Daniel Pelissier were our hosts and explained the ins and outs of Macro/Close-Up photography. Jim had brought lots and lots of equipment for participants to use should they wish to.
The large group was divided into 3 smaller groups.
The large group was divided into 3 smaller groups.
1) Nikon Users - led by Leo (it takes a man to use a Nikon)
|
2) Cannon Users - led by Daniel (the happy bunch)

and the third group led by Jim which had a mix of cameras. Unfortunately no group photo was taken as the participants were so keen on taking pictures they had dispersed into the Wild Flower Garden to try and capture the flowers.

Comments from Scotty Roxburgh about his photos: "All were taken using my Sigma 150 – 500 mm zoom lens and a 2 inch extension tube.
The big plus for me was I did not have to bend down to take these images."
