This is a new feature for the CAPS photo club so members get to know each other better, and also to make them aware of what the photo club has to offer.
Please meet Rhonda Robinson, Rhonda writes:
I am very much an amateur photographer only shooting since June of 2012 and has had no lessons. I love being outdoors hiking, kayaking, and snowshoeing and thrills at the site of wildlife. I currently am shooting with a Canon Rebel 3Ti but would like to get a more professional camera. My main job is with Jacobs Engineering in the Oil and Gas Industry, but photography is a treasured hobby. Q: What is your favorite kind of photography, and what is it that interests you so much?
A: Nature and wildlife photography is my favorite. I have always loved being outdoors and love wildlife. I grew up alone and have been single since 1996 so spend a lot of time alone. I don't feel alone when I'm out in the mountains photographing my "friends."
Q: What kind of equipment do use now, and what did you start with?
A: I have a Canon 3Ti with a Canon 18-150 zoom, a Canon 300mm zoom and a Tamron 600mm zoom (love it)
Q: What is the best piece of gear in your camera bag?
A: My Tamron 600mm
Q: What are your 3 favorite non-photo hobbies?
A: Kayaking, hiking/backpacking/snowshoeing, running
