Member Spotlight
This is a new feature for the CAPS photo club so members get to know each other better, and also to make them aware of what the photo club has to offer.

Please meet Jake Zondag, Jake writes:
I recently joined CAPS. However I've been a photography club member in different clubs over the years.
My love for Photography was developed during my years as a missionary in South America where I enjoyed photographing people, scenics, still lifes, etc. I later owned a photo studio for several years. I have owned a Pentax, Minolta, 4x5, and Nikons. At present I shoot with two Nikons: a D200 with a 70-300 lens and a D7000 with a 18-200, my favorite lens.
Some of the best advice I received from some Pro friends was to shoot, shoot and shoot some more, and to compose my photos in camera so I don't have to fix them in Photoshop.
As for non-photographic hobbies, I enjoy teaching Bible classes, painting, and woodwork which has resulted in my favorite photos and art hanging on my walls.
