Introduction to DSLR Cameras - Winter 2018-19Instructor -Scotty Roxbourgh
This DSLR camera course will be presented during three, 3 hour afternoon lectures followed by a hands on in the field four hour session to practise what you have learned during the course. Participants will learn what modes on their camera dial to use, learning about Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority and Manual Mode. You will understand the significance of the Exposure Triangle and how changing one or other of the following, shutter speed, aperture or ISO are interrelated and will affect the outcome of your image. You learn about White Balance and Depth of Field, how to take blurred images and how to freeze fast moving subjects. The course will further present image examples of all of the various techniques and effects on images using all of these tools. Finally you will be provided an introduction into image composition. Participants must have a DSLR camera to take this course. |
