About CAPS
CAPS is a club where photographers of all levels get together in a social atmosphere for the sharing of techniques, knowledge and experiences. We have a history of involvement with the City of Red Deer and continue to provide a valuable service to our community. We promote photography in our community through education, events, exhibitions and community service.
Club Membership Information
The 5 Ws of CAPS:
WHAT: We offer classes, presentations, workshops, photo assignments, mentoring, guest speakers, competitions, and other activities that will encourage you to grow as a photographer WHO: CAPS is a Non-Profit Organization that encourages photographers of all ages, skill levels, backgrounds and interests to join and take part in photographic activities! WHEN: We meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesday Sept to Nov. and Jan to April. Classes are as scheduled. Doors open at 6:30 for socialization, meetings start at 6:45pm. See our club calendar for exact dates and meeting details. WHERE: Our meetings were normally held at GOLDEN CIRCLE, 4620 47A Ave Red Deer, AB, T4N 3R4 However, while we are experiencing the pandemic, we have been holding our in-person meetings, socially distanced, virtually on Zoom, or a hybrid of both in-person and virtual. WHY: Because we love to share our photographic experiences and knowledge with others. |

Membership entitles you to

Membership fee is $60.00 per year for a single membership or $100.00 per year for a couple or a parent and child within the same household. Student (a full time registered student) is $35.00
(Please note that from December 16, 2021 to May 11, 2022 the single membership will be $40.00 a family membership $70.00 and a student membership $20.00) NOTE: Payment method is cash or cheque in person or online by eTransfer or with VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS or PAYPAL |
